ROMA's business began in 1987 with a commitment to provide the freshest
sausage available at a competitive price. Using only the finest cuts of
pork or poultry coupled with strict quality control procedures, VILLA
ROMA quickly earned a reputation for providing FRESH (never frozen),
lean sausage with exceptional quality and flavor.
Villa Roma sausage products are made fresh daily and distributed throughout
the Western United States and Hawaii.
The largest producer of Italian sausage in the western United States,
VILLA ROMA guarantees consistent flavor, using select imported spices,
which are unit packaged, custom blended and sterilized to assure bacteria-free
flavorings. Sausage items are made entirely of fresh midwestern corn-fed
pork shipped to us twice each week, assuring raw materials are never more
than three days old.
Organ meats or meat by-products are never used in our sausage. Our lower
fat poultry sausage contains only fresh poultry thigh meat, locally produced
to maintain freshness. No mechanically separated or comminuted trim is
ever used. Such materials do not provide the appearance or bite the consumer
expects in a quality sausage. All VILLA ROMA sausage products exceed USDA
standards for leanness. Villa Roma never uses
nitrites, nitrates or MSG.
